Episode 39 - Transparent Billing

It might seem like a no-brainer, but when you are a business and you are offering a product or service, you need to show your customer the price before you sell it to them. This is especially important for consultants and contractors. The temptation might be strong to do work ahead of time and send the bill later, but your clients will need to see how much they can expect to be paying before they agree to have you do the work for them. It's how they can set their budgets and compare the price with their competition. Tune in as our founder share their recent hiccup with this subject. They will go over what they did wrong and what you can do to avoid making a similar mistake in your business.

Episode 38 - Bookkeeping

In every small business in operation there is constantly money coming into, and out of, the business account. As tedious as it might be, one of the most important things that you can be doing as a business is tracking this money. What you're spending money on, what you're getting money from, and how much you have at any given point. In order to do this, you need to have good bookkeeping. It's important for taxes, investments, loans, and even day to day operations. Tune in as our founders explain a little of what they have learned about this topic to get you started on your way to setting up your own bookkeeping service.
